Dr. Linda Stinson serves as the Career Pathways Manager for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), where she leads statewide efforts to align education with workforce needs through initiatives such as Career Pathways Teacher Grants and Registered Apprenticeships.She leads statewide workforce development efforts that strengthen Missouri’s economy by aligning education with labor market needs. In collaboration with the United States Department of Labor and the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development, she advances Registered Apprenticeship opportunities that expand access for high school students. Her work ensures programs are aligned with industry demand, support meaningful credential attainment, and connect directly to Missouri’s broader work-based learning and career pathway systems, with a strategic emphasis on integrating emerging technologies into career-connected learning.Dr. Stinson holds a Doctor of Education in P–20 and Community Leadership from Murray State University. She also earned a Bachelor of Arts from College of the Ozarks, a Master’s in Education from Quincy University, and an Education Specialist in Learning Technologies and Design from the University of Missouri–Columbia. Her research focuses on integrating registered youth apprenticeships and emerging technologies into career-connected learning systems.
