About me
Dr. Shelly Mondeik joined Mid-State Technical College on June 1, 2017 as the college’s sixth president.
She has held leadership positions at the national, state and regional level and is highly regarded in the Wisconsin Technical College System. Her 20+ year career in the field, has earned her a reputation as a leader who works tirelessly to ensure her college meets student, employer and community needs.
Dr. Mondeik earned a doctorate in educational leadership at Madison’s Edgewood College. She earned her master’s and bachelor’s degrees in career and technical education at UW-Stout and an associate degree at Northcentral Technical College.
Most recently, she was named to Wisconsin’s Top 50 Women Leaders and named Association of Community College Trustees (ACCT) Central Region CEO of the Year. She is active in her communities and a leader who serves by example. She is known to be a leader of the people she serves.
